Its always a pleasure to catch up with Tim Newbegin, Vice Chair RIMPA Victoria and discuss the unique set of information management demands and regulatory compliance obligations placed upon Government clients.
The origins of these obligations are spread across many pieces of legislation, Acts and regulations, standards, guidelines and other sources. Executives who want line of sight and assurance of Business Systems compliance prompted Votar to develop RCAT: the Regulatory Compliance Assessment Toolkit.
Attending the RIMPA Conference allowed Votar to show Information Management professionals how RCAT offers a structured, easy to use regulatory compliance risk assessment tool kit to gather reportable evidence and support discussions with their Executives.
Following the recent release of version 2 of the Business Impact Level (BIL) Table by the Office of the Victorian Information Commissioner (OVIC), we have updated the compliance risk classification questions in RCAT for our Victorian Government subscribers. The answer options and explanations for the questions regarding Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability have been revised to align them with the new VPDSF business impact levels.
Votar Partners are holding a demonstration of our Regulatory Compliance Assessment Toolkit (RCAT).
